Hey! It's me, Amanda!
I've been the one behind the camera in Saskatoon and area for the last 13 years. Holding your newborns, getting hugs from your toddlers, giving high fives, cracking jokes and making your whole family feel comfortable in front of my lens. I consider families at every stage to be my specialty as I LOVE photographing your connection, bond and uniqueness that makes your family YOURS!
While I have several Newborn Safety, Newborn and Family posing courses and a University of Saskatchewan level Photography class under my belt. Most of what makes a beautiful photograph is gorgeous light, the right angles and your unique family connection--I just get to be the one to help capture those moments you spend together!
Aside from being a photographer, I am a wife (with an incredible supportive husband) and have two children (11 & 14) that I absolutely adore with my whole heart. They keep us busy with their sports and extra-curricular's now that they are in the teen years!
During the summer months you could likely find us camping anywhere in our gorgeous country, spending time at Wakaw Lake surfing or boating, or spending time with our family and friends around a campfire.
My favourite pastimes are being with my family-likely watching one of their sporting events, reading a good book (my genres are usually non-fiction, but I like the occasional dramatic or suspenseful fiction thrown in there), yoga or home workouts, baking or playing board games with family and friends. I also love taking our dog Macy for a walk by the river valley in Saskatoon, snuggles with our cat Ollie on the couch while watching some Netflix, listening to true crime podcasts, or planning the next big travel adventure!

Photographer for Empty Arms Perinatal Loss Support Services
Empty Arms is a Saskatoon Based Non-Profit Organization passionate about providing support to individuals and families that experience grief and bereavement due to the loss of a child during pregnancy or up to the age of 6. All of their services are completely free of charge.
I am grateful to be able to share my talents and services as a Photographer with Empty Arms here in Saskatoon at the Jim Pattison Children's Hospital.
In hospital photography of these families with their precious babies as they make the only memories with him/her - baths, reading a story, dressing, snuggling and kissing baby - are some of the most important images I could ever take, the only images these families will have together with their little one.
1 in 4 pregnancies will end in loss, we lost our first baby at 11 weeks and we named our baby Dakota. This baby of ours is the reason why I got involved with Empty Arms as one of their first volunteers back in 2015, it has been a healing way for me to honour his memory.
